Role
Experience and expert level of independent systems analysis.
Experience and expert level diagramming of technical designs, such as creating / maintaining system diagrams, workflow diagrams, sequence diagrams, UML diagrams, etc.
Experience and expert level of accepting business requirements, performing systems analysis, creating appropriate level technical diagrams of as-is and to-be processes, and writing technical user stories to support the business requirements.
Experience and expert level validating technical requirements are met for all systems within the team's functional domain, such as user interfaces, batch processes, API implementations, database / data changes, etc.
Accountable for owning and maintaining technical requirements for the team's functional domains.
Ability to read code - Java engineering background is important.
Angular, Java and SQL are the primary languages.
Really looking for systems analysis, technical system diagramming and designing solutions, mainly in the API space.
Ability to independently map API requests / responses and creating / modifying those API models without necessarily needing to rely on software engineers for the first pass of solutions.
Being self-directed and can perform systems analysis independently and not be a pass through to the development team.
Job Description
Utilize in-depth technical knowledge for analysis and drive technical transition, system modification / enhancements, and aid in process of technical development. Be a strategic liaison and focal point of communication between GTS staff, management, and business partners in order to achieve creative and effective technical solutions.
Perform strategic technical research and analysis for all lines of business.
Additional roles may include consultation, coordination, and support to various strategic technical committees and programs.
Perform one or more of the following :
Produce efficient functional and technical specifications for moderately complex to complex projects
Research and determine technical system implications from business user stories
Provide technical requirements definition, detailed development specifications, development, test methods, and project / functionality delivery in line with the long-term goals and objectives and architecture
Utilize developed knowledge of information systems, including but not limited to system flow, input and output requirement, infrastructure, and coding, in order to create technical designs which, ensure business needs are met
Job Specifications
Typically has the following skills or abilities : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
4 years of experience performing analysis of information systems
Experience coding; must read / comprehend code in order to design technical specifications Some knowledge of various data transmission methods preferred
Health Care Industry experience or knowledge preferred
