- Tech Support Services requires a short-term contractor in the role of Technical Support Analyst. This position will provide much needed support for administration of production DB2, CICS, Endevor, and X/PTRsystems. The person filling thisposition should have
- Thorough knowledge of Z/OS operating system and its interrelationships and functionality
- The ability to provide configuration management / release management support and guidance for Endevor software
- Thorough knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) programming language and techniques
- Thorough knowledge of tools and utilities to support DB2
- The ability to evaluate complex SQL queries and recommend suggestions for better software performance and cost savings
- The ability to provide CICS administration, problem-solving and debugging support interfacing with application developers as well as CLIENT personnel
