Our client, a leading consumer goods manufacturing company, is looking for a Technical Writer. This is for an initial duration of 12 months and is located in Loudon, TN.
Job Type: Contract (Candidates must be able to work on W2 without VISA sponsorship)

Requirements:
Prefer candidates who are familiar with a manufacturing setting, and/or have written manuals, work instructions, SOP's related to manufacturing and safety processes
The Technical Writer is responsible for working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
The position researches products, services, technology or concepts to be documented and easily understood by a broad audience.

Concise, attention to detail, being able to collaborate with our specialists.

Scheduling Microsoft Teams meetings for recording and editing videos a plus.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Meet with subject-matter experts to ensure specialized topics are appropriately addressed.
Consult across teams to ensure content meets all criteria prior to publishing (i.e., Safety, Quality, Production, Training, Engineering)
Analyze information required for the development or update of policy, procedure and form documentation.
Review and/or copyedit content developed by other members of the team.
