General Job Summary:
Responsible for daily supervision and functioning of one construction project and/or one crew on a single work site. This includes overseeing project progress, coordinating activities with other departments, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and direct a crew of construction workers (contractors) to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
* Coordinate with various stakeholders, including the Operations Manager, Owner, and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
* Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality, identify potential issues, and provide guidance as needed.
* Maintain accurate records of project progress, including schedules, budgets, and personnel assignments.
* Collaborate with the Operations Manager to develop and implement project plans, goals, and objectives.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
* Proven experience in construction management, preferably in a supervisory role.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office and project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello).
