Job Description: As an Appointment Setter in our Service Department, you will play a key role in scheduling and managing customer appointments for vehicle service, repairs, and maintenance. You'll be responsible for creating a positive customer experience by coordinating service schedules, confirming appointments, and addressing any customer inquiries.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule service appointments with customers, ensuring the correct service type and vehicle details are accurately recorded
- Answer inbound calls and respond to customer inquiries regarding service options, pricing, and availability
- Confirm appointments and provide reminders to customers via phone or email
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date appointment calendar
- Assist in managing service department workflow and prioritize urgent requests
- Collaborate with service advisors and technicians to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
- Handle customer concerns and ensure a positive customer experience
- Provide excellent customer service both over the phone and in person
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or appointment scheduling is preferred
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with scheduling software (experience with Tekion is a plus)
- Must be detail-oriented and able to handle customer information confidentially
- Positive attitude with a strong desire to help customers and be part of a team
