Purpose:
To oversee and guide the delivery of behavioral and clinical services, ensuring quality care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to enable them to live valued lives in the community.
Qualifications:
•Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings
•Must possess a valid Driver's License which meets company standards for approved driver status
•Must possess advanced computer skills
•Level 1 - Board certified behavior analyst BCBA, master’s or doctoral level, or a person licensed under Chapter 490 or 491, F.S., (psychologist, school psychologist, clinical social worker, marriage and family therapist, or mental health counselor) with at least three years of experience in the application of applied behavior analysis procedures preferably with individuals with intellectual/ developmental disabilities
•Must have experience in writing effective behavioral support plans, transition plans and graphing data
Essential Functions
•Provides supervision and direction to the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and other clinical staff to ensure services align with person-centered principles and regulatory requirements.
•Ensures integration of behavioral, psychiatric, nursing, and other support services into the overall care plans.
•Reviews and approves functional behavioral assessments, Behavioral Service Plans, and progress reports.
•Facilitates ongoing training for staff in positive behavioral supports, the use of reactive strategies, and Behavior Services Plans implementation.
•Regularly audits individual cases for compliance, best practices, and progress tracking.
•Monitors compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding behavioral health services.
•Attends Local Behavioral Review Committees as required
•Provides oversight and guidance to behavior analysts and staff in observing, identifying, analyzing, and documenting incidents of behavior to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with individual plans and organizational protocols.
•Performs all other duties as assigned
