Acquisition Agent II

Job Summary:
The Acquisition Agent II is responsible for sourcing and acquiring vehicles for the dealership or automotive company. This role involves evaluating vehicle value, negotiating purchases, and building relationships with vendors, auction houses, and other dealerships to ensure a steady supply of quality inventory.
Essential Functions:
Identify and procure vehicles through various channels, including auctions, trade-ins, and private sales.
Analyze market trends and pricing to determine the best acquisition opportunities and ensure competitive pricing.
Negotiate purchase agreements with sellers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
Assess the condition and value of vehicles, including performing inspections and researching vehicle history.
Conduct test drives to assess their mechanical performance.
Collaborate with sales and inventory teams to ensure that acquired vehicles align with customer demand and dealership strategy.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, wholesalers, and auction houses to create a reliable network for vehicle acquisition.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle acquisitions and prepare reports on inventory levels and acquisition costs.
Ensure all vehicle acquisitions comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Maintain satisfactory attendance.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
2 years of experience in automotive acquisition, sales, or a related field.
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record; required to have California driver's license within 10 days following date of hire.
Knowledge of the automotive market and trends.
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
Ability to perform all essential functions of the job description.

Typical dealership or repair shop environment, including noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
May occasionally visit service bays or workshops to discuss vehicle issues with technicians.
