Automotive Fleet Sales Associate - Kearny Mesa Ford & Kia Non-Exempt - Hourly wage plus incentive compensation plan Job Summary:As a Fleet Salesperson, you will be responsible for organizing and optimizing our transportation fleet to ensure we are meeting customer demands and exceeding expectations. Essential Functions: Generate business by soliciting commercial and fleet accounts over the phone, internet, in person or mail Works directly with business, fleet, and private guests to maximize sales and profit for the fleet department Responds to guest’ inquiries over the phone or internet in a timely and professional manner to ensure guest satisfaction Introduces guests to dealership operations, including the service and parts departments, to emphasize to guests the quality and efficiency of the dealerships service operations Maintains an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to guest satisfaction Maintains and achieves the sales and customer satisfaction objectives set by management Works with current service customers Other duties may be assigned as needed   Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Valid California state sales license Valid Driver’s license and safe driving record; required to have California driver's license within 10 days following date of hire Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Ability to perform all essential functions of the job description   Preferred Qualifications  Ability to monitor fleet budgets Strong organizational and problem solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of safety requirements Ability to set and meet deadlines Ability to operate the stores point of sales (POS) system   Physical Demands:  Regularly stands, walks, sits; uses hands; reaches with hands and arms; talks and hears. Occasionally climbs or balances; stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls; lifts up to 25 pounds  Must be able to inspect fleet damage in a variety of weather conditions. Good vision to inspect repair work. Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections Environment/Noise:  Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
