Job Summary
As a File Clerk, you will be responsible for managing and organizing the company's physical and digital filing systems. Your role involves maintaining accurate records, ensuring files are properly archived and easily retrievable, and supporting various administrative functions. Attention to detail and organizational skills are crucial for success in this position.
Essential Functions:
Sort, organize, and file documents and records according to established procedures. Ensure that files are accurately labeled and stored in appropriate locations for easy access.
Retrieve documents and records as requested by staff or management. Ensure that files are returned to their proper locations after use.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of files and documents. Update and track file status, including file creation, movement, and destruction.Enter information into electronic databases and filing systems. Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality when handling sensitive or confidential information.Regularly review and purge outdated or unnecessary files according to company policies and retention schedules. Assist with the creation and maintenance of digital filing systems.Provide general administrative support, including copying, scanning, and faxing documents. Assist with other office tasks as needed, such as scheduling and organizing meetings.Ensure that filing practices comply with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards. Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.Monitor and order office supplies related to filing and record-keeping. Ensure that filing equipment and supplies are in good working condition.Maintain satisfactory attendance.

Minimum Qualifications:
Previous experience in a clerical or administrative role, particularly involving file management.
Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
