Job Summary:
The Product Genius is responsible for providing expert knowledge and insights on the dealership’s vehicle inventory, including features, specifications, and technology. This role involves engaging with customers to demonstrate vehicles, answer questions, and ensure that customers have a comprehensive understanding of the products available. The Product Genius enhances the overall customer experience by delivering exceptional product knowledge and support throughout the sales process.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of all vehicles in the dealership’s inventory, including features, benefits, and specifications.
Stay updated on the latest product updates, technologies, and industry trends to provide accurate and current information to customers.Serve as the primary resource for vehicle-related questions and demonstrations.Greet customers and engage them in discussions about their needs and preferences regarding vehicles.Conduct detailed product demonstrations and test drives, highlighting key features and benefits of the vehicles.Provide personalized recommendations based on customer preferences and requirements.Assist the sales team by providing technical expertise and support during the vehicle selection and purchasing process.Collaborate with sales representatives to ensure a seamless transition from product knowledge to closing the sale.Help address and resolve any customer concerns or objections related to vehicle features or specifications.Train and support dealership staff on product knowledge, including new vehicle features and updates.Develop and deliver training sessions to enhance the sales team’s understanding of the dealership’s product offerings.Create and maintain product knowledge materials, such as brochures, presentations, and digital content.Enhance the overall customer experience by providing exceptional service and support throughout the vehicle buying process.Collect and manage customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and ensure high levels of satisfaction.Organize and participate in dealership events, product launches, and promotional activities to engage customers and promote vehicle offerings.Monitor and analyze customer interactions and feedback to assess the effectiveness of product demonstrations and support.Provide reports and insights to management on customer preferences, product performance, and areas for improvement.Track and report on product-related metrics, such as demo-to-sale conversion rates and customer satisfaction scores.Work closely with other dealership departments, including sales, service, and marketing, to support overall dealership objectives.Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors to stay informed about new products, updates, and promotions.Assist with the development and implementation of product-related marketing strategies and campaigns.Maintain satisfactory attendance. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a sales, customer service, or automotive role.
Ability to lift up 15 pounds.
