Things You'll Do
- Visit job sites and monitor safety compliance
- Get to know the workforce and build a relationship of trust
- Perform safety inspections of company facilities, production plants, and equipment, then follow up with stakeholders on findings
- Conduct safety trainings and attend site safety meetings
- Analyze and report on incident trends
- Function as a safety expert on safety related issues
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal workplace safety regulations.
- Working knowledge of local, state, and federal workplace safety regulations
- 3 years of safety experience
- The ability to establish trusting and partnered relationships with all people
- Excellent conflict management and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration
- An insurable driving record
- Bachelor's Degree or a safety-related certification is preferred, but not required
