What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aggregate Supervisor - Rawlins position at Sunroc?
Overview
Under the direction of the area manager over aggregates, the Aggregate Supervisor is responsible for supervising aggregate superintendents in the performance of their duties, managing all aggregate locations and aggregate processing facilities.
Things You’ll Do
- Oversee superintendents, set goals, and plan strategies.
- Monitor employee training, certification, and manage HR activities (recruiting, hiring, promotion, corrective actions).
- Visit production sites to oversee safety, cleanliness, production, and evaluate aggregate quality.
- Serve as the company expert on aggregate processing; design and install new facilities, investigate new sources with the VP.
- Ensure environmental compliance, secure equipment, oversee reclamation work, and maintain an insurable driving record.
- Adhere to union contracts and ensure safety and environmental compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering, mining engineering, construction management or related field.
- Ten years of field experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal, problem solving, and technical skills
- Ability to review and analyze profit and loss
- Strategic thinking skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to create and manage divisional production and financial reports.
- Exceptional mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to manage repairs, maintenance, and operation of aggregates processing facilities.
