The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, maximizing sales, and maintaining store appearance. Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Service
Assist customers with purchases, ensuring a positive and engaging shopping experience.
Train and motivate staff to achieve sales goals and upsell novelty items.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally.
Monitor store layout and product placement to enhance visual appeal and sales.
Oversee inventory control, including restocking, receiving shipments, and conducting stock checks.
Ensure loss prevention measures are followed to minimize shrinkage.
Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and compliance with brand standards.
Assist in executing promotions, discounts, and seasonal displays.
Team Leadership & Staff Development
Supervise sales associates and provide ongoing training and coaching.
Assist in staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
Lead by example with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and customer-first mindset.
Financial & Administrative Duties
Assist with daily cash handling, deposits, and register reconciliation.
Support the Store Manager in tracking sales performance and reporting data.

Previous retail experience, preferably in a resort or tourist-driven environment.
Leadership experience in a supervisory or assistant management role.
