Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor is currently searching for Warehouse Associates!
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the receiving, storing, rotating, issuing, handling, and delivering of all goods for the company according to company policy while promoting a culture of excellence. Responsible for preparing for deliveries, ensuring all receiving work sheets, inventory requisitions are filed accordingly by vendor delivery schedule.

All duties are performed in accordance with department and Sunseeker Resorts policies, practices, and procedures.
Job Duties
- Provide exceptional service to our internal and external customers by modeling Sunseeker’s expectations to customer service.
- Check all incoming goods against delivery orders and invoices, food specifications and purchase records to ensure that the type, amount, price, and quality of items received and ordered are correct.
- Inspect food quality at receiving. Anything not up to standard must be approved by the Warehouse Manager
- Ability to sort and organize goods on pallets by predetermined specifications
- Relocating goods to designated areas by manual or motorized equipment
- Ensure trucks are clean and free from food debris.
- Weigh all catch weight items, to ensure the weight is accurate
- Conduct temperature checks on refrigerated/frozen products and truck temperatures are taken and recorded on temperature log
- Establish “Use First” stickers for all applicable products.
- Ensure inventory requisitions are accurate prior to delivery to the requesting department.
- Ensure loading dock and receiving areas are kept secure, clean, and organized.
- Consistently check product expiration of food and beverage products and alert the Warehouse Manager if something is approaching expiration.
- Ensure all local and corporate policies, rules, internal controls and procedures and safeguards as they relate to the Procurement Department are complied with.
- Work together with other Warehouse staff to ensure consistent transitions from receiving to storage of products
- Ensure all goods for all departments are received and delivered to the correct location/holding area. Ensure that all non-food and beverage deliveries coincide with an approved purchase order. All deliveries without purchase orders must be researched/ rejected.
- Maintain the highest level of business integrity in dealing with vendors and delivery persons.
- Ensure all invoices and/or packing slips are given to Procurement Assistant after check-in.
- Request for credit is filled out for any items refused or damaged and signed by the driver and Receiver
- Inform the Warehouse Manager in the event of any returns, shortages, or no-show deliveries immediately.
- Assist with regular cleaning and re-organization of warehouse storerooms.
- Follow all work and safety standards within the Storeroom and under OSHA guidelines.
- Perform any additional duties that may be assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Sunseeker Resorts performs criminal background checks on all candidates. - High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Forklift certification (OSHA) or ability to obtain prior to start (will train)
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Minimum of one (1) - two (2) years' Hotel, Resort, and/or warehouse environment experience preferred
