What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Sales Manager South Central US (Outdoor Power Equipment) position at Sunseeker North America, Inc.?
The Regional Sales Manager is part of the Dealer sales team and adds value for Sunseeker and it's dealers by building a business relationship that facilitates each dealer's growth, performance, and success. The RSM is responsible for securing and developing new dealers that help meet sales and market-share goals for the territory. This position will plan, enhance, and measure the performance of assigned dealers, as well as service the dealer base. This job regularly requires in person product presentations and training. Required travel is up to 70% with overnights required. This position is for the South Central Territory. (TX, OK, LA, MS, NM)
The Position :
Develop an action plan to increase the company’s brand position in assigned territory
Gain, Maintain and Build Dealer confidence
Make planned dealer visits and chronicle the discussions and outcomes
Demonstrate equipment and provide product application training and support
Work with dealers to help develop their robotics and OPE business
Train dealers with the latest robotics information and practices (Installations / Service)
Monitor dealer inventory levels and drive business adjustments as required
Train / Assist with Robotic Mower Installations (Ability to lift 50lbs)
Represents Sunseeker products at trade, industry, and dealer shows
Requirements :
Minimum of high school degree or equivalent; Associates Degree Preferred
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in high performance sales environment
Lives in a location within the assigned territory that the Company logically determines will best serve our customers
Prior sales experience in industries that have shown dramatic growth and volume in sales, such as home automation products, power tool, electronics, consumer durables, construction equipment, and / or power sports businesses preferred
Proven sales performer with excellent business development skills
Demonstrated ability to solve problems independently
Demonstrated understanding of market positioning both from a financial and product viewpoint.
Demonstrated knowledge and / or aptitude and passion for learning extensively about Robotics and the green industry in order to represent the Sunseeker brand and products effectively to dealers.
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop high quality working relationships both internally and externally.
Strong planning and organizational skills, demonstrating ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment.
Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office software applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), as well as the ability to learn and master other in-house programs that track sales and customer relations
