Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor is currently searching for an Amenity Room Attendant!
The Amenity Room Attendant is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience by ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of in-room amenities. They coordinate with the front desk to confirm check-in times, ensuring seamless service for guests and VIPs. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to meeting guest needs.
All duties are performed in accordance with department and Sunseeker Resorts policies, practices and procedures.
Job Duties
- Promptly deliver in-room amenities to guests and VIPs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Greet guests warmly and professionally, creating a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere.
- Answer guest inquiries and provide knowledgeable recommendations regarding food and beverage options.
- Observe and anticipate guest needs, responding promptly to special requests.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the restaurant menu, including ingredients, flavor profiles, portion sizes, and preparation methods.
- Efficiently process point-of-sale transactions as needed.
- Stay informed about daily specials, menu changes, and beverage offerings, including liquor, beer, and wine selections.
- Utilize expert upselling techniques to enhance guest experiences.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service and exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work environment.
- Provide support to other areas of Food & Beverage operations as needed, including seating guests, answering phones, and stocking supplies.
- Assist with general cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and completing assigned side work.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including food safety and liquor laws.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Sunseeker Resorts performs criminal background checks on all candidates. Candidates will need to be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. - High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Attention to cleanliness and safety
- Experience handling payments and a point-of-sale system.
- ServSafe Certification or equivalent is preferred.
- TIPS Certification or equivalent is preferred

- Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Excellent customer service skills, over the phone and in person
- Ability to function well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet established deadlines
- Must possess mature personal discretion and sound judgment
- Professional appearance and demeanor, adhering to all grooming and uniform guidelines, including slip resistant shoes.
- Enthusiastically supports decisions once they have been made by management.
- Excellent customer service skills and an ability to communicate effectively, in English.
- Self-starter able to prioritize and handle various tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
- Ability to take direction and collaborate in a team environment.
- Proficiency required in reading, writing, and mathematics, in English.
- Ability to work in a high energy and demanding environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as with other team members.
- Able to work unsupervised for extensive periods, and to demonstrate good judgement when dealing with customers and peers.
