Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor is currently searching for a Graphic Design & Production Artist!
The Graphic Design & Production Artist is responsible for managing and tracking the design, approval, proofreading, and production processes of marketing & operational materials for Sunseeker Resorts. This role reports to Sunseeker's Senior Graphic Designer and helps create graphic assets for all types of marketing including brand marketing, property promotions, food & beverage and special events offerings, HR & talent acquisition communication, etc. Finally, this person will also provide leadership in a dynamic, fast-paced, sophisticated environment to promote a culture of excellence.
All duties are performed in accordance with department and Sunseeker Resorts policies, practices, and procedures.
Job Duties
- Design and create simple campaigns and low-profile jobs from concept to completion for internal and external guest and team member communication through digital (website / third party channels / social media), on-property, print and any other method
- Stay current in design trends and styles in various media, including digital and social channels
- Generate high quality comps for presentation or review
- Work with creative management to ensure that designs meet business expectations, budgets and deadlines
- Modify or revise complex digitals to ensure they RIP correctly and print properly for a variety of media
- Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and select style and size of type
- Prepares requisitions and purchase orders for all goods and services purchased by the Marketing Department
- Mark up, paste, and assemble final layouts to prepare layouts for printer
- Maintains files for all completed jobs.
- Proofreads projects in their final stage to check for errors.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment when evaluating new programs, new services and new ideas
- Stay abreast of property goals in order to create support and present departmental goals to executive leadership
- Continue to learn and be on the forefront of new technology for the hotel industry
- Create ways to further enrich the guest experience by continuously reviewing, implementing and refining procedures to ensure every opportunity to offer extraordinary guest experiences while maintaining a culture of smiles, retention of luxury standards
- Develop collaborative relationships and synergy with all support departments such as Convention Sales & Services, Facilities, Security, Front Services, Front Office, F&B, Golf Course and Executive Offices
- Foster a management team that possesses and delivers on key strategies of guest service, team member relations, team cooperation, financial responsibility and asset management
- Ensure all accounting, payroll and team member relations matters are handled in compliance with company policy
- Perform other functions as needed
Minimum Requirements
Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Sunseeker Resorts performs criminal background checks on all candidates.
