Automotive Accounting Office Administrator
Sunset Automotive Group is an established, locally and family-owned dealership group in Sarasota and Manatee counties. We are dedicated to continuing as an anchor and partner in the local community we serve.
We are currently seeking an accounting administrator for our professional accounting department at our Sunset Cadillac of Sarasota dealership in Sarasota. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone with an automotive accounting and/or title clerk background looking for a stable, professional, and friendly business environment. Reynolds&Reynolds experience helpful, but not required. Hours are typically 8-5, M-F.
Accounting Office Clerk Requirements
Members of the Sunset accounting team need to be versed in accounting practices for an automotive dealership, able to complete work efficiently, and will also have the independent judgment and critical thinking skills to know when something needs a second look.
- 1-2 years automotive accounting experience required
- Successful candidate must be computer literate and able to use Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Candidates with Reynolds & Reynolds systems experience will be given priority.
- Duties may also include some phones.
- Must be flexible and able to work in a team environment.
Accounting Office Administrator/Clerk Duties
- Efficiently and accurately complete accounting processes as needed in support of the business
- Maintain accurate accounting records in computer systems
- Assist with month end reconciliations
- Other duties to assist with accounting department or dealership operations as required
