We are currently seeking a Service Greeter - Porter to join our professional team at Sunset Cadillac of Sarasota!
If you enjoy interacting with people and making them feel welcome and you would also like driving and parking vehicles and generally keeping busy contributing to a team, then this position is for you. Schedule will generally be 8-5 Mon-Fri and some Saturdays 8-2.
Sunset Cadillac of Sarasota is a proud member of the Sunset Automotive Group family of new car dealerships in Sarasota and Manatee counties. Established in 1979 and dedicated to customer service and doing business the right way, we have been a stable presence in our community ever since. We are looking for team members who will contribute to our culture of professional, personal service to our valued clients and each other.
In this role, you will help the flow of customers and vehicles move smoothly through our busy service department by directing clients to the proper personnel. You will then prepare their vehicle for service by placing protective covers, doing minor safety and maintenance checks, and driving vehicles to the staging area. You will also do some clean-up and restock around the drive and the service customer lounge, drive vehicles through our automatic car wash, and other duties as needed to keep things looking professional and running smoothly.
Service Greeter - Porter Requirements
As the primary contact in our clients' service experience, your interaction with our guests is vital to ensure their experience is a pleasant one. Some things we are looking for in our next service porter include:
- Pleasant personality and professionalism with clients and staff
- Must be able to communicate in English, bilingual or multilingual helpful, but not required
- Candidate must have a valid driver's license with an excellent driving record
- Physical ability to walk, drive, and spend much of the day in a covered area that is not temperature controlled
- Previous new car dealership experience a plus
