Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional dental care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dental clinic setting and possess a thorough understanding of general dentistry practices, as well as specialized areas such as pediatrics, endodontics, oral surgery, and prosthodontics. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing the necessary instruments and materials.
- Ensure the dental clinic is compliant with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
- Take medical histories and document patient information accurately in medical records.
- Operate dental equipment, including 3D scanners and medical imaging devices, to assist with diagnostics.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain an organized workflow within the clinic.
- Support pediatric patients by creating a comfortable environment during their visits.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is required.
- Knowledge of general dentistry practices, including endodontics and prosthodontics.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient confidentiality.
- Proficiency in infection control procedures within a clinical setting.
- Experience with medical documentation and record keeping.
- Ability to operate advanced dental technology such as 3D scanners and imaging equipment is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients of all ages, especially children.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
