Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. This role is essential in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our business goals. As a key member of the leadership team, the Human Resources Manager will foster a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with all HR policies and procedures.
Duties
- Oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
- Manage workers' compensation claims and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Develop and implement effective talent management strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
- Conduct interviews and facilitate the hiring process to build a skilled workforce.
- Administer payroll processes using HRIS systems such as Kronos and SAP.
- Lead change management initiatives to support organizational growth and employee adaptation.
- Ensure compliance with employment labor laws and regulations to mitigate risks.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to employees and management.
- Analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making and improve HR functions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, certificate or degree in Human Resources preferred. Experience with ODOT requirements, including required alcohol & drug testing. Experience in administration of and negotiating labor agreements.
- Proven experience in human resources management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of workers' compensation, employment labor law, interviewing techniques, and talent management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Certification from a recognized HR body (e.g., SHRM-SCP or PHR) is a plus.

Pay: $50,186.00 - $59,458.00 per year
