Director of Marketing & Events
Job Overview:
The Director of Marketing and Events promotes the Lee’s brand by hosting events and creating marketing campaigns across various social media platforms
Responsibilities Include:
· Develop and implement marketing plans, including promotional events, new products, and other marketing projects
· Work with operations and procurement team on brand initiatives to maximize profits while balancing customer satisfaction
· Edit webpages and social media outlets
· Create and manager social media content
· Plan and execute all advertisement campaigns across TV, digital, print, direct mail, radio, and other social media platforms
· Develop sales forecasting and product branding plans
· Conduct customer, brand, and product research initiatives
· Budget, forecast, and manage marketing investments to achieve performance goals
· Build brand awareness
· Identifying potential customers
· Drive strategies, best practices, and marketing guidelines company-wide
· Host three company charity events per year
· Create and manage weekly in-store demo schedule
· Book and manage in-store celebrity bottle signing events
· Measure and document success of events and projects for reference
· Respond to customer complaints via google, yelp, Facebook, company info e-mail, corporate voicemails
· Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Associates’ or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of Marketing and Event planning experience
- Proficiency with content management systems and design software (i.e. adobe photoshop, canva, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills and excellent at problem solving
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized and detail orientated
- Ability to multitask and work well while meeting deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize Microsoft applications, intermediate excel skills required.
