Overview

Sunset Heating and Cooling is seeking a reliable and skilled Gas Pipe Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of gas piping systems in residential properties. This role involves ensuring that all systems are safely and efficiently installed according to regulations and industry standards.

What You'll Do :

Install and assemble gas pipes, valves, and related components.

Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on gas piping systems.

Ensure all installations comply with safety codes and regulations.

Test and verify the integrity of gas lines and equipment.

Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine installation locations.

Work closely with other contractors and team members to complete projects on time.

Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

What You'll Bring :

Proven experience as a gas pipe installer or similar role

Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations for gas installation

Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Good physical condition and ability to work in various environments

Physical Demands :

Stand / Sit : Must be able to remain in stationary position 50% of the

May be required to bend, climb (Stairs / Ladders), do repetitive motion, kneel, reach, squat, stand, crawl, walk, and run

May be required to drive and sit for long periods of time

May be required to maneuver up to 25 lb. by lifting, carrying or pushing

Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs.) frequently

Comfortable working in confined spaces, heights, and varying weather conditions

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods
