Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. Caregivers will work closely with clients to ensure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met in a respectful and dignified manner.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring any changes are communicated to healthcare professionals.
- Support clients with mobility and transportation needs, including lifting and transferring individuals safely.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to all resident rights and privacy standards.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client condition promptly.
Skills
- Experience in home care, social work, group home settings, or personal care homes is preferred.
- Knowledge of working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in monitoring vital signs and understanding basic health care protocols.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Ability to lift and assist clients safely while maintaining their dignity and comfort.
- Understanding of resident rights and commitment to providing care that respects individual preferences and choices.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 40 per week
