You will assist in the planning, implementing, and evaluating of nursing care, ensuring the health and well-being of residents. This role requires a dedicated individual who can manage daily tasks and respond effectively to the needs of our senior community.Key Responsibilities : Resident Care : Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians.Assessment : Conduct regular assessments of residents' physical and mental health status, document findings, and report any changes to the supervising nurse or physician.Care Planning : Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for residents.Medication Management : Administer medications accurately and timely, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to medication protocols.Emergency Response : Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate care and interventions until additional medical help arrives.Documentation : Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including charting resident progress, treatments, and any changes in condition.Communication : Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.Supervision : Oversee and guide nursing assistants and other support staff in providing quality care to residents.Education : Provide health education and counseling to residents and their families regarding medical conditions, treatments, and wellness practices.Compliance : Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and facility policies.RequirementsEducation : Graduate from an accredited LPN program.Licensure : Current and valid LPN license in the state of employment.Experience : Prior experience in a senior living, long-term care, or similar healthcare setting is preferred but not required.Skills : Strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team, and proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
