Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic hands on General Manager to join the Sunset Hotel Group and lead their team and oversee the daily operations of our Salisbury, Maryland property that is soon to become the Hilton DoubleTree Downtown Salisbury. The hotel is currently undergoing a two year full exterior and interior renovation and will join the Hilton family as one of their flagship brands upon completion. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, exceptional leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail that ensures Hilton's commitment to 100% guest satisfaction. Located in downtown Salisbury and directly on the Wicomico River the property will consist of 141 guest rooms and suites, boardroom, fitness center, indoor pool, full service restaurant and bar, outside deck bar with dining and full banquet facilities.
The ideal canidate will have at least 5 years minimum General Manager experience and prior F&B experience is preferred. Hilton brand experience is preferred and a plus but not required. Renovation experience is also a plus as you will be hands on during the final stages of the renovations. Please send resure for immediate consideration.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, sales, and revenue management.
- Ensure the highest standards of customer service and guest satisfaction are consistently maintained.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue, profitability, and occupancy rates.
- Lead, motivate, and inspire a diverse team of hotel staff to deliver excellence in hospitality.
- Foster a positive working environment and promote teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
- Maintain strong relationships with corporate partners, vendors, and the local community.
- Uphold brand standards and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, budgets, and forecasts to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
- Proven track record as a General Manager in a full-service hotel environment.
- Extensive experience in hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and sales.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve common goals.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Hilton experience preferred.
