Job Summary
The Barbacks overall responsibility is to support the Bartender with bar prep, restocking, guest orders, inputting orders, bussing, running food, preparing limited amount of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, opening/closing/side work duties, all while ensuring that the bar is consistently kept tidy, sanitized, stocked, and organized.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Clean and sanitize bar counters and stools; collect, wash, and sanitize all glassware; take out trash and recycle items; unclog sinks, clean spills, and mop behind bar.
- Consistently check and restock ice, bar items, cleaning cloths, liquor, beer, and wine bottles.
- Perform bar prep work- juicing citrus, garnishes, etc.
- Properly follow recipes to make and serve a limited variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Attend to guest needs and requests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
- Must be able to cross-train in other F&B related areas.

Essential Skills, Experience, and Education include:
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or minimum 1 year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Luxury hotel/fine dining experience is a plus.
- High volume, fast-paced work environment experience preferred.
- Aloha experience is a plus.
- Food Handlers card is required.
- Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS) Certification is a plus.
- Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification is a plus.
- Proficient in English- verbal and written.
- Must have flexible work availability- all shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements include:
- The employee will frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
