What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Watchman position at Sunset Moulding?
Sunset Moulding is looking for a diligent and responsible individual to fill the position of Watchman, who's primary duty is to supervise the grounds at our facility in Chico, and calls authorities promptly should an incident occur.
Responsibilities include:
- Utilizing a scanning wand to scan buttons throughout the plant every hour as a fire and security watch of plant.
- Opening gates in the morning and closing gates at night or when needed.
- Turn lights off and on as needed in plant.
- Responsible for turning machines, fans, blowers, etc. off.
- Responsible to call - 911 (for emergencies) and managers if needed.
- Maintain a log of anyone entering the premises during non-operating hours as well as logging tasks and activities throughout the shift.
- Clean and keep in an orderly condition all working areas, employee areas and parking lots.
- Sweeping floors, removing chips, trash and other refuse, dusting the equipment, providing supplies and minor maintenance services, signing off on hot work permits, cleaning restrooms and break rooms, etc.
- Will be asked to perform a variety of jobs that require minimal amounts of training.
Selected applicant(s) must be able to pass a drug test and range of motion exam. This opening is for (1) individual who can work the following shifts:
- Monday 9:30pm - 5:30am
- Tuesday 9:30pm - 5:30am
- Wednesday 9:30pm - 5:30am
- Thursday 9:30pm - 5:30am
- Friday 11:00pm - 7:00am
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.90 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
