- Review and interpret medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop patient-specific medication plans
- Conduct patient assessments to identify potential drug interactions or adverse effects
- Provide counseling and education to patients on medication usage, side effects, and precautions
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to pharmacy practice
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles
- Oversee the preparation and dispensing of medications
- Monitor medication therapy outcomes and make recommendations for adjustments as needed
- Utilize utilization management techniques to optimize patient care and minimize costs

- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy

- Experience in utilization review and utilization management is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals
