What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Assistant Event Coordinator position at Sunset Room At The Vista?
· Assists with supervision of catering and bar staff to help assure proper service
· Assures correct appearance, cleanliness, and safety of dining room areas, equipment, and fixtures; reports any deficiencies and maintenance concerns
· Participate in wedding and event set up to assure successful execution
· Tour Possible Clients For the venue
· Assist in setting up and breaking down the dining room
· Assist in the review of banquet event orders to ensure the proper set-ups are in place
· Have full knowledge of all menu items being served
· Follow policies, procedures, and service standards
· Inspect all tables, linens, bars, and other banquet items for cleanliness and accuracy
· Provide 5-Star/ 5-Diamond service to all guests while displaying a positive attitude and an eagerness to learn new information
· Able to take constructive criticism to help improve areas of opportunity
· Assist Event Coordinator in planning, hosting and executing events of all types sizes
