Armed Patrol Officer

Sunset Safety Agency is seeking dedicated and experienced Security Guards to join our team as Armed Patrol Officers in Santa Ana, CA. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $20 to $23 per hour. Applicant must be at least 21 years of age and have a clean driving record to apply for this position. You must be able to work weekends and have open availability.

Armed Patrol Officer Duties:

Your primary responsibilities will include patrolling a designated beat, responding to incidents, and acting as a visible presence to deter potential criminal activity. It is important to have strong observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to complete detailed reports of findings.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas, including foot patrols of assigned client properties.
• Monitor and report any suspicious activity or break-ins to the appropriate people.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and other incidents requiring security intervention.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as needed.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of daily activities.
• Provide assistance and support during emergency situations, ensuring the safety of individuals involved.
• Uphold all company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in criminal justice or a related field preferred.
• Valid California Guard Card and Firearm Permit.
• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or military service preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
• Proficient in using communication equipment and technology.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
