Benefits :
Shift Differential : $3.00 / hour for hours worked between 2 : 00pm-6 : 00pm
Shift Differential : $5.00 / hour for hours worked between 6 : 00pm-6 : 00am
Weekend Differential : $1.00 for hours worked on Saturday & Sunday

Job Summary :
Our Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Sunset Senior Living provides compassionate and professional care to residents. You will assist in the planning, implementing, and evaluating of nursing care, ensuring the health and well-being of residents. This role requires a dedicated individual who can manage daily tasks and respond effectively to the needs of our senior community.
Key Responsibilities :
Resident Care : Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Assessment : Conduct regular assessments of residents' physical and mental health status, document findings, and report any changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
Care Planning : Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for residents.
Medication Management : Administer medications accurately and timely, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to medication protocols.
Emergency Response : Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate care and interventions until additional medical help arrives.
Documentation : Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including charting resident progress, treatments, and any changes in condition.
Communication : Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
Supervision : Oversee and guide nursing assistants and other support staff in providing quality care to residents.
Education : Provide health education and counseling to residents and their families regarding medical conditions, treatments, and wellness practices.
Compliance : Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and facility policies.
Requirements
Education : Graduate from an accredited LPN program.
Licensure : Current and valid LPN license in the state of employment.
Experience : Prior experience in a senior living, long-term care, or similar healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
Skills : Strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team, and proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
