Ice Cream Scooper/Cashier

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and friendly Ice Cream Scoopers to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while serving delicious ice cream treats. As an Ice Cream Scooper, you will create a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and ensure that every scoop is perfect. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for the food industry.

Responsibilities

• Serve ice cream and other frozen desserts to customers with a smile.
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the scooping area, including bussing tables and cleaning equipment.
• Assist customers with their selections, providing recommendations and answering questions about flavors and ingredients.
• Ensure proper food handling practices are followed at all times.
• Restock supplies as needed to maintain efficient service.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry or café setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with cash registers or POS systems is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to engage with customers effectively.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed in a kitchen environment.

Expected hours: No more than 35 per week
