Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and leasing residential properties, ensuring a positive experience for prospective tenants while maintaining compliance with Fair Housing regulations. Your ability to provide exceptional customer service and effectively manage conflicts will be key to your success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants, highlighting features and benefits.
- Assist potential residents with the application process, including gathering necessary documentation and explaining lease terms.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions with prospective tenants in accordance with company policies.
- Address tenant concerns and resolve conflicts in a professional manner, ensuring tenant satisfaction.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address any maintenance requests or issues reported by residents.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations throughout the leasing process.
- Provide administrative support related to leasing activities, including preparing contracts and managing documentation.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service or sales(preferred but not necessary)
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills to engage effectively with potential tenants.
- Ability to manage conflicts and provide solutions that enhance tenant satisfaction.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for administrative tasks related to leasing contracts.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
