What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Manager (Onsite) position at Sunset Transportation?
About the Role:
Sunset Transportation is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Account Manager to act as the on-site primary point of contact for a preferred client. As a dedicated liaison between Sunset and the customer, you will be responsible for managing their account from quoting and delivery to handling the claims process. You will be the first onsite employee at this location with tremendous opportunity to make an impact. Success in this role will depend on building relationships with stakeholders, overseeing routing and management of shipments, resolving issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and improving supply chain efficiencies.

What You’ll Do:
Ensure continued growth in accordance with customer (SOPs)
Oversee routing and management of shipments
Manage all vendor routing
Communicate shipment details to appropriate personnel
Lead carrier communications on behalf of customer
Audit dispute and claims process
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in Account Manager role, specifically LTL and Truckload
Proven success in building and growing customer accounts
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Effective negotiation and conflict resolution
Business acumen and customer service experience
Strong salesmanship and presentation abilities
