If you like seeing a project through to completion, we might have the role for you. Our dynamic construction company is looking for an experienced construction superintendent to manage our projects. You’ll be in charge of supervising our installation crews, supervising subcontractors, assisting with quality checks, solving installation problems and maintaining safety and compliance at the construction site. We are looking for someone with 5 years minimum of construction field experience and a passion for helping others. Compensation:$25 - $30 hourly
Responsibilities:- Reduce accidents and delays on construction sites by ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations and reporting any problems to the project manager as soon as they arise
- Certify that each building project delivers a high-quality end product, oversee construction staff, and perform on-site assessments daily
- Review subcontractor output concerning schedules and success targets to ensure that the project is on track to be completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standards required
- Maintain a daily record of project progress and home repair updates for the project manager and the homeowner
- Completed training for OSHA 30 license and firm adherence to safety protocols on the job-site
- 5 years of prior experience as a general contractor is required for this position; additional management experience preferred
- Possesses a deep understanding of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, permits, construction equipment, material resources, project management principles, and construction methods
- Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office software
- Physically capable of using heavy equipment and lifting at least 40 pounds
