What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packhouse Line Lead position at Sunset?
Hourly Rate $18.00/hour
Responsibilities:
- Continuously monitor and ensure production quality meets customer spec, focusing on quality of product, case and pallet labels
- Implement and monitor employee adherence to hygiene/GAP practices and safety guidelines
- Oversee inventory control with input and output of product NAV
- Assign workers to line positions per paly sheet, rotate workers throughout shift
- Support Packhouse Supervisor as needed
- Knowledge of all Food Safety protocols and paperwork

Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Computer proficiency required with data entry experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, present information and direction, and field questions from managers, employees and external contacts
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving
- Demonstrated problem solving and attention to detail
Working Conditions:
- Will be on feet standing, bending, lifting, and walking a minimum of 80% of the time on concrete surfaces.
- Environment includes a refrigerated warehouse where the temperature could be 50°F and background noise approaches approximately 70 dcbs
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs on a regular basis
- Varying temperatures
- Must be able to work around bees
