Job Description: BCBA Clinical Director
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated BCBA/LBA Clinic Director to oversee the creation and implementation of ABA programs and curricula tailored for children aged 2.8 to 6 years. The focus will be on social and behavioral development, using an age-appropriate preschool curriculum as a tool for ABA programming, teaching, and learning the missing skills as needed to facilitate interaction within school environments.
Responsibilities
Program Development and Implementation
- Design and oversee ABA programs aimed at enhancing social and behavioral skills in young children.
- Integrate age-appropriate preschool curriculum topics to encourage teaching and learning the missing skills as needed within school settings.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that align with ABA principles and best practices.
- Structure programs to incorporate age-appropriate academic milestones as foundational tools to foster social and emotional school readiness.
- Utilize preschool curriculum elements such as reading, writing, storytelling, and computation as building blocks to support the development of social interactions, emotional regulation, and participation in age-appropriate routines and responsibilities.
- Implement ABA strategies within academic frameworks to support self-regulation, adaptability, and communication in classroom environments, ensuring children are equipped with the foundational skills needed for successful integration into school settings.
- Monitor and adjust programmatic content to meet evolving client needs and industry standards.
Compliance and Quality Assurance
- Conduct regular audits of treatment plans, session notes, and clinical data to ensure regulatory adherence.
- Collaborate with compliance teams to address discrepancies and uphold high standards of care.
- Stay updated on ABA-specific regulations and policies relevant to early childhood populations.
- Ensure all programs align with Medicaid and commercial insurance guidelines.
Team Collaboration and Family Support
- Teach and learn the missing skills as needed across clinical and administrative teams to enhance service delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for families, ensuring transparent communication about treatment goals and progress.
- Conduct caregiver training sessions to empower families in supporting their child’s development.
- Provide supervision and mentorship to clinical staff, ensuring consistent and high-quality ABA services.
Administrative Oversight
- Supervise and oversee clinical operations within the clinic.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting compliance.
- Develop and maintain Policy and Procedure Manuals for program operations.
- Implement data-driven decision-making to optimize service delivery.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.
- Certification: Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Experience: 3-5 years of leadership experience in ABA services, with a focus on early childhood populations.
- Skills:
- Expertise in treatment planning, program development, and clinical data interpretation.
- Knowledge of Medicaid and commercial insurance billing processes.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in clinic management or operations.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (preferably CentralReach).
- Familiarity with early childhood developmental milestones and assessments.
- Proven ability to mentor clinical teams in early intervention services.
Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site position at our new clinic in Lakewood, NJ. The Clinical Director BCBA will play an integral role in managing and delivering ABA services tailored to children aged 2-6.
