Pay Range: $60k - 70k annually
Job Schedule: Typical schedule is M-F, starting at 6:30 am
Job Summary:
Sunshine Air Conditioning's Field Supervisor - New Construction is a dynamic full-time, salaried position that requires experience leading a diverse team of HVAC installers. The Field Supervisor is tasked with delivering premium products and services while developing, growing, and improving the installation department. The Field Supervisor is an experienced driven individual and an engaging leader who works with construction supers and installers on job sites. This individual reports to the Install Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
- Reviewing all scheduled rough-ins with the Install Manager
- Executing site visits to ensure procedures are followed and that installation is pristine
- Assuring that job material sheets are complete and accurate
- Assist in the management of materials on job sites
- Daily, on-site troubleshooting
- Enforce on-site safety standards and regulations
- Participate in the instructional requirements for the installers
- Continuously reassess the installation tasks and procedures, and communicate concerns to the Install Manager
- Assist installers when needed with job completion
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Monitor client matters and address any and all issues that occur in a timely fashion to ensure perfectly contented builders and their supers
- Stand ready to respond to any emergency calls during the installation process
- Report deviations, inefficiencies, and problems to management with accuracy and urgency
- Provide touchups and small repairs as necessary
Supervisory Responsibilities:
At any given time, 10-15 installers report to this position
Required Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
- 3 years of HVAC install experience
- Prior supervisory experience required
- Coaching/Leadership training preferred
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Be familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Demonstrate a willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles
- Knowledge of basic ductwork practices
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Advanced communication skills with everyone including installers, construction supers, and builders
