Join Our Rehabilitation Department Team!
Sunshine Children’s Home is currently seeking a Full-Time Rehabilitation Technician to join our dedicated Rehabilitation Department. In this role, you will work under the supervision of our skilled Rehabilitation Therapists, assisting children with a variety of routine tasks. Your responsibilities will include supporting the maintenance of equipment, helping with positioning, assisting with ambulation, standing programs, and daily living activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist children with routine tasks related to equipment maintenance, positioning, and mobility
- Support ambulation and standing programs to promote independence
- Assist with daily living activities for children with special needs
- Communicate effectively with children, their families, and the multidisciplinary team
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with special needs and the ability to interact compassionately with both children and their families.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with special needs is a must
- Certification as a Rehab Tech, PT Aide, or Rehab Aide is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
