Sunshine Children’s Home and Rehab Center is a 122-bed licensed nursing facility, located in Ossining New York, specializing in the care and treatment of medically complex children who require post acute, rehabilitative care.
We currently have an outstanding opportunity for a full-time leadership position in our Therapeutic Activities Department. Candidate will provide developmental/recreational support for our pediatric residents. Under the guidance of CTRS, candidate will assume responsible for the evaluation, planning and implementation of therapeutic activities for assigned residents ranging in age from newborn through Young Adult, provision of staff education and supervision in therapeutic activities.
Hours will encompass evenings, weekends, and holidays as defined in departmental policy and responsive to program needs
Requirements
Formal education required:
High school diploma required.
Some college work in education; psychology or recreation preferred.
Previous experience required:
Two years’ experience working with children.
Must have a valid NYS drivers license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
