SUMMARY:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment for all staff and visitors at SCHC facilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Clean and sanitize exam rooms, and restrooms.
- Compliance with OSHA safety guidelines
- Compliance with HIPAA privacy policy.
- Have knowledge of locations of MSD sheets and update them as new supplies arrive.
- Clean, mop, wash, buff, vacuum floors, and clean carpets.
- Empty trash
- Assist Facility Maintenance staff to maintain outside walk areas including sweeping debris and washing walkways.
- Assist Facility Maintenance staff to maintain landscape: water, cut and trim shrubs and grass.
- Clean and polish fixtures, change bulbs and clean light fixtures as needed.
- Monitor janitorial supply inventory and report needed supplies to Facility Maintenance Manager for re-ordering.
- Maintain janitorial equipment and storage area in a clean and organized fashion.
- Clean windows and screens
- Keep delivery area clear of incoming boxes or packages.
- Dust and spot clean furniture
- Empty Shredder
- Empty and/or load dishwasher
- Ensures attendance and hours worked are accurately recorded.
- Other duties as assigned
Graduation from high school or the equivalent, at least 18 years old and 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
