What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher's Aide position at Sunshine Early Learning Center?
Duties include, but are not limited to, directly working with, and communicating with the teacher in the classroom to implement classroom curriculum, teach activities with gentle instruction daily, feeding and diapering infants, cleaning classrooms (i.e., sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, laundry, dishes, and other center cleaning responsibilities,) and keeping a safe environment for all children in care. This applicant must reflect a nurturing, loving/caring attitude towards children & families, reflect an attitude that promotes motivation, initiative and enthusiasm for the children and other staff members. This applicant will also care for and teach students of various backgrounds and various developmental needs and must be willing to work with children in other age groups up to 12 years old. Must be able to stand for long periods of time (at least 75% of shift); able to lift 40 lbs; and able to kneel.
Job Qualifications:

~Graduated High School, GED or currently attending high school
~At least 18 years old
~Previous experience with children desired
Job Type: Full-time/Part time Flexible schedules available.
Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
