JOB PURPOSE
- Builds shipping crates, wrap and loads signs onto flatbed trailers in preparation for shipping
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Builds shipping crates using power tolls such a saw
- Secures lumber and plywood using nail gun
- Shrink wraps cabinets with propane torch and tape
- Maintains clean work area
- Operates forklift
- Moves signs on/off trailers using forklift
- Uses variety of power and hand tools (i.e. drill, screwdriver)
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to accurately read tape measure
- Utilizes power and hand tools in proper manner (i.e. drill, screwdriver)
- Lifts up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to sit, stand, crouch
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Overtime work as needed
- Weekend work as needed
- Hot and cold work environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Repetitive tasks
- Extended periods of standing
- Extended period of lifting heavy objects
