Our Client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Permit Analyst (Customer Service Rep)
GENERAL FUNCTIONS
Performs technical and clerical reviews of building plans and issues permits consistent with department regulations. This is a technical position with significant responsibility that requires sound judgment and excellent customer service skills. Work is performed with considerable independence under the supervision of the Senior Permit Analyst or Assistant Manager, Plans Review.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES / ASSIGNMENTS
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from high school or equivalent and two (2) years of technical / clerical experience including customer service; or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience. Must have demonstrated the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with the general public while discussing, explaining, and interpreting departmental policies.
PREFERENCES
Demonstrated computer literacy with a working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
