What You will be Doing as a Valued Member of our Team:
- Treat patients under the direction of PT’s.
- Progress patients through their plan of care within guidelines established by the PT.
- May contribute to the physical therapist’s development of individualized intervention plans.
- Analyze tasks relative to areas of occupation, performance skills, activity demands to implement the intervention plan.
- Based on the intervention plan, the assistant selects and implements therapeutic interventions to enhance performance in areas function.
- Based on the intervention plan, modifies environment including equipment, materials, devices, and adapts processes to ensure successful physical performance.
- Provide education/training on intervention techniques to patient, family, and staff.
- Document physical therapy intervention services and maintain administrative records in accordance with state guidelines, and Medicare reimbursement standards.
- Screen and gather data, complete checklists, histories, and interviews.
