In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. Responsibilities
- Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to launder various items including linens, towels, and uniforms.
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry according to established procedures.
- Inspect items for stains or damage before washing and report any issues to management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure that all laundry equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions immediately.
Skills
- Experience in laundering processes is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and quality.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines effectively.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
