Daycare & Preschool Teacher | Colorado Springs
The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking a Daycare Teacher for our NAEYC-accredited school in Colorado Springs. We are hiring immediately, and would love to meet you!
Lead Teacher starting pay: $16-$18/hour, starting rates based on education and experience.
Assistant Teacher starting pay: $15-$16/hour, starting rates based on experience.

Teacher Duties:
- Implement our award-winning curriculum in a way that meets each child's unique learning style.
- Foster relationships with children and provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Document and share with families the important milestones in a child’s day using our app.
- Welcome families and engage them in conversation about their child's education and development.
- Have fun and work as part of a supportive team!
- High school diploma or equivalent required and must be at least 18-years-old.
- Previous teaching experience in licensed childcare preferred.
- Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field preferred.
- Lead Teacher: Starting pay of $16-$18/hour, based on education and experience.
- Must have the following qualifications to be considered:
- Early child development college courses
- Completed college degree
- Current CDA
- Early childhood or special education professional development trainings through the state such as EQUIT or pyramid plus
- Credential 3.0 level 2 or higher
- Blue Cross/Blue Shield medical, dental & vision insurance
