Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company's accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collections, reconciling customer accounts, and providing insights into cash flow management. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage outstanding receivables to ensure timely collection of payments.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Credit application approval
- Investigate and address billing issues, chargebacks, and payment disputes.
- Prepare and analyze aging reports to identify overdue accounts and trends.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve customer payment issues.
- Process invoices, credit memos, and adjustments accurately.
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce outstanding debt.
- Provide regular reports and insights to management regarding accounts receivable performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- 3 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or a related finance role.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze data and present actionable insights.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
