Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Pick up and Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting customer's laundry safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires strong driving skills, the ability to lift 45 pound, and a commitment to providing excellent service. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the integrity of our service.
Duties
- Operate delivery vehicles, to transport pickup and deliver customers laundry to designated locations in Charlotte and other towns north of Charlotte including Mooresville
- Load and unload laundry from the vehicle, ensuring safe handling and proper placement.
- Follow assigned routes for deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with company staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition before each trip.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar courier role is preferred.
- Ability to lifting and carry out physical tasks associated with loading and unloading laundry bags.
- Experience with route driving and knowledge of local roadways is beneficial.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate delivery records.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
- Bi-lingual a huge plus
